Thanksgiving

Long time no blog...but I have pictures to make up for it! Ok this first one you can't see very well and has nothing to do with anything...I hope it blows up for y'all when you click on it.

The weekend before Thanksgiving my parents came out to stay with me while David was out of town...sadly this was the only picture we took! (I don't know what it is about pictures of Granddads turning sideways.)
Penny hasn't made the blog in a while so I didn't want y'all to forget what she looked like

Ok let the Thanksgiving pictures begin. We drove to Irving Tuesday afternoon. We were able to spend some time with Shannon and Addy! (they already love each other and share with each other...like their fingers in each other's mouth!)My girls!

Ava sported 4 different Thanksgiving outfits...and of course looked super cute in all of them!

She finally got to meet Sammy!
And most important she finally got to meet Aunt Meredith!!!

We went and took the girls to meet Santa...I highly recommend Bass Pro Shops. There are lots of fun things to do and a REALLY good Santa

Addy truly fits into Arkansas

My little family's Christmas picture...oh how I love my little family!!!Sassy and her baby girl!

Thanksgiving is always a busy day for David and me. We spend the morning with my family and the afternoon with his family (switching where we eat each year). This year was harder than most. We both lost grandparents this year and this was the first holiday without them. But with the loss of them we had new life to help fill our hearts. Here are pictures of Ava meeting my side of the family for the first time.

aunt Diane
Four Generations...my family isn't the best at taking pictures on command...I think we have a better one on another camera.

Uncle Lyle...thanks for the super Texas A&M dress!
Uncle Kent
Uncle Paul finally got to spend some good quality time with Ava...He even learned how to feed and change Ava this week...what a brave brave man!

This year we ate Thanksmas at David's house...and after lunch we did Christmas. Ava sporting my new favorite outfit...All mommy wants for Christmas is a silent night.

Ok I am finally almost done. This is my old neighbor Nicole and her baby Sydney. They are 5 days apart. Sydney has had a rough first month and a half. She spent most of it in the NICU then a week and a half after breaking out of it she moved back to Irving from Georgia. But now she is doing great and is super cute just like Ava!!!

It has been a super busy week. David and I are back in Abilene just the 4 of us and I'm loving every minute of it! I love LOVE LOVE being with my extended family but Love even more just being with my little family!!! Ok back to getting this baby to sleep so I can get the rest of the lights on the tree!!! I love Christmas time!

nope, that picture doesn't blow up when I click on it.

David needs to man up and eat with both families.
