We got to go see the planes...it was neat but I don't think it was worth the extra money.

Graceland was a super fast and fun trip. Graceland is only 2 1/2 hours away from Jason's so we were able to just make it a day trip. Over all I think everyone had fun, and we were able to keep this trip a secret for MONTHS!!! Happy Birthday Dad...I hope you had a great birthday!!! Love you VERY VERY much!!!

Prayers needed!

Urgent prayers needed!!! Some of our best friends are in some major need of prayers, love and support. Chris and Katie are having some really hard times right now. About 2 months ago Chris started having some uncontrol movements in his hands and feet, that quickly turned into him not being able to talk, walk, or feed himself. They just moved to Houston in Jan, and they both just started new jobs. Chris hasn't been able to work in about 2 months, Katie is having to support both of them as well as taking care of Chris. He was discharged from the hospital a few days ago and they are staying at Chris' parents house right now, but there is still a long road ahead of them. Please being praying for them...David and I love them soooo much it just breaks our hearts hearing what they have been dealing with. They are such wonderful people. Chris is one of the most loving and caring people in the world. They have been so suportive of me and David while we were pregnant, and helped us out in every possible way once Ava was born. many Many nights of free babysitting, last minute in a bind babysitting! Thank y'all soooo much! Ava is sooo blessed to have yall in her life!

Katie has been so strong during this. Putting her faith in God. I can't even begin to imagine how scared, worried, tired she is. She is taking such good care of him and loving him, even when its hard. God bless you Katie!!!

We love y'all sooo much!!! Things are going to get better! We can't wait to see y'all in a month!!! Chris you better be better so we can have some fun!!!

First Plane Ride!!!

For Pappy's 50th birthday we flew out to my brother's and took him to Graceland! It was so nice only having to drive to Dallas and then only have a 45 min flight instead of a 6 hour drive. Ava did pretty good for having to sit still that long.

Ava started to get really restless...luckly that was about the time they passed out drinks and pretzels!!! What a lifesaver!

It started off that the pretzels were too hard for her to chew, so we would put them in water to soften.

Then it turned into a game of play in the water...

Then turned into bath time!

Over all she did really good...and even came out a tad cleaner!!!

Welcome back!!! I finally was able to get a card reader for my memeory card so it is time for some major catch up! Sadly I'm just now uploading Christmas from my camera!!! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

One of my nurse friends just moved to North Pole, Alaska, and thought it would be fun to write all the kids Santa letters. It was so cool seeing something post marked from there...

Well it has been a LONG time!!! I don't even know where to begin. The month of November I was out of town EVERY weekend and most of the week Thanksgiving. Month of December if I was not working we were out of town until last week! It has been a crazy last few months to say the least.

Well this last week was our first week in town and I think everything thing that could of gone wrong did! Whatever lesson that God is teaching David and I we are sooo ready for it to be over. But God is in control and isn't giving us anything we can't handle. Some how we are still living, laughing and yes living in the livingroom haha. David explains it best on his facebook status...

"in the course of 72 hours we have experienced a water damaged shower complete with black mold, a broken dishwasher, a family feud between the landlord and his son, Ava came home sick from daycare and vomited everywhere, our water heater went out 30 mins before company came, the kitchen sink was rotten through and had to be replaced and when the plumber showed up the dog started having two epileptic seizures and is now in the hospital!"
So far everything has gotten fixed...well the shower is being worked on as we speak at 9 pm! (not too happy about that but some how Ava is sleeping)...but hey it is getting done!

Ok now here is what y'all want the pictures...and yes it is mid Jan and I am posting Christmas pictures... I can't find the cord that goes to my camera so all I have are the pictures off of the USB port from my parents camera... Enjoy!!!

Part of our christmas was going to see ICE at the Gaylord. We thought Ava would enjoy it...boy were we wrong...it was WAY busy, you couldn't have a stroller, she wanted down but couldn't walk in the huge coat...so she cried the whole time!!!

(Plus it's NEVER good if the handle of her paci is touching her nose...it's her weird thing she does when she is sleepy)
