1 year check up

Ava had her 1 year check up on Monday. She now weighs 18 lb 10oz and is 28 inches long. I will do a big 1 year post when I have some more time to work on it. But I thought I would post these pictures till then.

Sitting on the table talking to Dr. Smith
Yes I am grossed out that my daughter is sitting on the floor of the Dr.'s office...but she has her shoes on so her feet don't touch the ground!!!
One of her new things is to take 3 steps then squat! It's so funny!!!

Rainbow Bible School...birthday edition

Poor Birthday Girl had to go to school on her birthday. Then to make things worse she had a rough day, she fell and busted her lip then a kid bit her finger. But that didn't stop her from having some cute pictures taken. Aren't her teachers the best for taking pictures of her at school.

The blue ring is her favorite toy at home too...she walks around with it on her arm ALL the time.

Breakfast at school.

Happy Birthday Party to you!!!

Saturday we celebrated Ava's 1st birthday!!! This year has gone by sooo fast, I can't believe it. This is just Part one of the party post, b/c I am waiting for all the other pictures from my family. (it's hard hosting a party and taking pictures!) Also if you want pictures in order start at the bottom b/c I'm not taking time to move pictures around...sorry.

My parents got Ava this super cute Potery Barn chair with her name on it. She LOVES sitting on things...during church she likes to sit on her diaper bag, currently her favorite toy is getting in and out of the bumbo seat. She Loves her new chair. Thanks Sassy and Pappy!!! Now if she would just learn how to get off of it and not fall out...good thing she is tough!
Ok here comes the pose with the birthday girl pictures...

Me, Ava, Janaye, and Kinslee...it is soo hard to take pictures with the girls. They just want to look and laugh at eachother. (I feel sorry for twin parents!)

GrandPops, Grammy and Uncle Paul

Josh and Morgan

Garrett and Stacy
Katie and Chris

(I can't say thank you enough to our Abilene friends. There is no way we would of survived this last year without y'all. Thanks for all of the support, free babysitting, and shoulders to lean on! Ava is truly blessed to have y'all in her life and have sooo many people love her!)
Ava with her super cute hate and smash cake (I made both of them!!!)
Daddy, Mommy and Ava! (I love my little family sooo much!!!)

Ava eating her cake...she ate almost half of it...and yes we had some crazy looking diapers after! Red and black icing...

Daddy and his birthday girl! Isn't her outfit super cute...you should see the ladybug shoes that went with them!!!

How could you not love this babie!!!

Daddy cooked all the burgers...and they were amazing!!!

Janaye, Chance, and Kinslee...(this is the only one I have of chance.)

Ava's first hamburger! She liked it.
We had so much fun. I didn't get to take many pictures with my camera, so I'm waiting on my parents and Shannons. I'm sad that I didn't get any pictures with my parents, or my brother, Shannon and Addy. I hope there are some with them in the others.
Once again thank you so much for coming and celebrating Ava's birthday with us!!! Ava got so many awesome new toys...which I don't think there is one she hasn't played with yet...and She can't wait for the mail tomorrow!!! Pictures to come when we get her gift from her Grandpops and Grammy!!!

This might be one of the most random blogs ever...but I have pictures I wanted to post but yet not several little post...So here you have it.

Two weeks ago David got to preach back at South Mac. (he did an amazing job by the way and you can go to their website and listen). On our way out we stopped by and saw his Granny.
Such a good picture of them...I'm going to have to frame this one!
This is Ava's friend at church...Arabella.

Addy came for lectureship...I played dress up and fixed her hair...I can't wait till Ava has lots of hair!

I have no clue where this picture is from...but I love it... so enjoy!

Splish splash...

Early September David had a back to school swim party for the youth group. This was also Ava's first time to go swimming in a big pool...and she LOVED it. Once we were out she kept trying to get back in. She is such a water baby!

Sadly these pictures were taken shortly after her bangs being cut...man that girl is so fired from cutting Ava's bangs!!!

The little girl is Emily...and is absolutely in love with Ava. She has even moved pews in church so that she can sit next to her during church.

Homecoming Parade

After breakfast is always the parade. It's so funny how we do things the same way every year. Every year we sit on the curb in front of the same house with the same group of people.

We were able to meet up with Allison and Cannon for a little bit. There are way too many red heads in this picture! Aren't they cute. (if you want to help support spinal bifida babies like Cannon or just want a new t-shirt...check Allison out on my facebook!!!)

We take this picture EVERY year....well this year we got to add two super cute babies!!!

Roomies!!!
Can you tell that they love these babies?!?!

Ava got her very first piece of candy at the parade! She got a blue sucker and LOVED it! Don't you love those Piggies!!!

Happy 90th Birthday GATA!!! This year GATA was able to get 30 something pledges! Saving our wonderful little club. They did such a great job!

Aren't the flames cute in their red skirts and red lips!
I don't remember which club this is but it's a fire truck for Paul!

FRATS

SubT and their bouncy car...I think it was the first year it didn't stink up the place!
Isn't her blue mouth cute...I think I have the cutest baby in the world!!!

Mamma's and their babes! I have been so blessed to have Janaye in my life the past few years. I think I would of gone crazy in Abilene if it wasn't for her. And then even more blessed when we both got pregnant together. I don't know what I would do without her. Ava and Kinslee are going to be the best of friends!
