Halloween (part 1)

 

Every year Disablitly Resources has a small pumpkin patch.  I couldn't wait to go this year, I had to work last year so I missed out on the fun.  Ava LOVED all the different size pumpkins and picking one out based on their sizes for all of us.

 

 Even Jacob loved the pumpkins!

 Poor Jacob wasn't too sure of these pumpkins...I think he was having flash backs to when school stuck him into a pumpkin! (if you don't know what I'm talking about look at my facebook)

Every holiday gets better and better now that Ava knows what is going on.  This year she is really into halloween! Last year we didn't do anything b/c she wouldn't wear her costume.

Maternity pictures...just a year late!

I don't know why us pregnant momma's insist on getting maternity pictures done...I guess so we can remember what we look like at fattest to motivate us to get back to prepregancy weight...who knows.  Missy was so sweet and took my maternity pictures again, this time at her house.  She does such a great job.

 

 



 I can't believe how much she has changed in a year! Straight hair with bangs and such a baby face!

 I don't remember being this BIG!!! It's amazing how fast you forget!

 I love that Ava always thought she had a baby in her tummy, and that she wanted pictures of her baby too.

Change of subject...Please be praying for Rex and his family.  He is a 10 yr old dying of a brain tumor in Abilene.  He has been on hospice but he doesn't have much longer.  He family has asked for prayer that God takes him soon and peacefully.  Can you image ever having to ask for those prayers. West Texas Fair and Rodeo!

September was the annual West Texas Fair and Rodeo.  The weather is alway crazy during this time...this year it was COLD and rainy!  (a lot colder than we thought!)  The last few years we have gone with our friends Garrett, Stacy, Joe and Anna...but this year we got to add Isaiah and Jacob!

Aug and September

August and September was a big bath month for Jacob...He started sitting up in his baby tub...

 To playing with his toys in his little tub...

 To taking a bath with his sitter!!! (side note I don't recommend using a bumbo...they float even with the kid in them!) And now he just crawls around the tub with Ava.

 We also had to finally move the crib all the way down.
