I already blogged Ava's class Easter party but never got around to doing the rest of Easter. This year was the first holiday we haven't made it back to be with family and just did our own little family thing. It was sad but at the same time nice not having to travel.
This year Highland church did a really cool passover thing for families that was really interactive for kids. This was Ava nailing her sins on the cross. (she picked not listening to mommy and daddy)
The next station was feet washing. This was a really fun one that I think she kind of understood. (We now have to wash eachother's feet at bath time)"eating with Jesus" (she didn't really care for Jesus food LOL)
Praying in the Garden.
It's kind of funny going from Passover stuff to the Easter bunny...you know we have to turn every religous thing into gifts)
Blue bonnets...Ava and Jacob didn't really care to take pictures in them...This was the only good one I got!
Our friends Joe and Anna planted a garden. They really wanted to show Ava how to do it. It was so cute she showed her step by step, and even let her do a lot. She LOVEs their garden...not sure if its because she gets to play in water or if its the seeing it grow.
Ava and Kinslee at their Easter egg hunt.
Look at how many Jacob found!
Joe and Anna came and colored Easter eggs with us. Ava really liked it at first but the process was a little to slow for her.
