never can have too many...

A girl can never have too many Christmas outfits!!! And yes I do realize it is kind of sad that I am able to do a whole post on just her Christmas outfits...but it is too much fun not to! Thank you Sassy for all of the wonderful outfits!!!She had 3 pairs of Christmas socks, but I only have these pictured...sad

Every Christmas we always got pj's to wear home from my Grandparents...so these are Ava's Christmas eve pj's.

This was her "Christmas dress" But she slept through her photo shoot.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Molly's wedding

One of my dearest friends Molly Weaver...or I guess now Molly Pittman got married on Dec 19th. She was one of the first people I had play dates with. I can't believe after all of these years we are all still able to keep up with each other. Molly you made such a beautiful bride and your wedding was amazing. Jeff is a lucky lucky man to have you has his wife!

Molly and Jeff dancing
All of us girls made it to the wedding. It was so much fun getting to catch up with them. Jennifer and Ava. (Jennifer is the next wedding we have!!!)
We ALWAYS take a shoe picture...I even have some from when we were in middle school! And yes those are not preggos pants that I am wearing!!! and yes those are Christmas sock that I have on.
The girls!
Chelsea and Ava
They had all the kids go out and dance with Molly...Ava and Lilly just begged and begged to go out.

Gingerbread house...playing catch up

Christmas break is now over (as well as maternity break...sad) . But it is now finally time to play major catch up on my blog! So much has happened and I plan on posting a couple of times before the night is over.

We did our traditional Gingerbread houses with Garrett and Stacy...but this year we added a person to help us...Any guesses on who??? I bet you guessed right...it was Miss Ava Kate!!! She was such a "big" help haha.

Garrett and Stacy working hard Trying to help David...Ava was cranky during our house building

I think this by far the worst house we have ever made.
This is how much help Ava was...pretty much passed out the whole time

2 months

It has been so busy lately with all of the holiday stuff going on. Dec. 19th Ava turned 2 months so I need to do a 2 month post... (Christmas pictures will come later when I finally upload them)

At 2 months Ava weight 10 lbs 8 oz. 22 inches long. She has moved up to 0-3 month clothes, and still in size 1 diapers. She has graduated up the the big girl bottles since she is now drinking 5 oz of breast milk every 4 hrs during the day but will sleep about 5-6 hrs at night (mommy and daddy very very happy about that!!! She has also moved into her own room sleeping in her crib!

Fun things she has started doing...
-LOVES her tounge!!! it is ALWAYS out of her mouth!
-She smiles all the time
-She now can focus on toys and seems to like them...every now and then she will hold onto them if you put them in her hands.
-she wants to suck her thumb...but hasn't figured out that she needs to get it out of her fist.

David and I are so blessed to have her in our life, and we enjoy every minute with her. It is so much fun watching her grow and develope into the the young lady she is going be.

Sorry it has been so long. I hope to post Christamas before I go back to work on Thursday.
Be praying for me...I think I will do ok going back, but it will still be a little hard that first day. Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

All mommy wants for Christmas...

All mommy wants for Christmas is a silent night!!! Although I can't complain Miss Ava Kate is a great sleeper (at night). Pretty much every night this week she has slept 5 hrs in a row, and twice 6 hrs! But I can still ask Santa for more...right?

I can't remember if I mentioned that last weekend Ava Kate and I went home for a girls weekend while Daddy stayed home and rested and studied for finals. Well y'all might be shocked to hear this but Sassy and I went SHOPPING!!! Lets just say Miss Ava is now in the Christmas spirit and pretty much can be till Christmas!!!

Isn't she the cutest! Today I went to the store and got her a Christmas bow and some Christmas socks! She is trying to get onto Santa's good list!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas finally around our house! The tree has been up we just finally got around to finishing it. It feels like it has taken forever for Christmas to come this year...I was wanting to put the tree up during the summer! (must of been a preggos thing)

Here is the fireplace...I found awesome nutcracker stocking holders!!! (even better 50% off!)
A few days ago I had just put Ava down for the night. I looked up from the sink and everything was white! I love snow!!!

asdPappy got Ava a stuffed Penny...I don't think she was very impressed.

The other night David and I had a date night (dinner and christmas shopping) so Chris and Katie watched Ava for us...they took pictures for us. I'm just glad she came back alive Chris had her for a hour by himself!!! Although she did come home in only her jacket and a blanket...poor baby had a blowout with her diaper and I'm a bad momma and forgot to pack extra clothes

Ava and Chris played a bunch of xbox...I love how they have the same facial expression!
No Chris this is how you do it!!!

Tonight we finally got around to the tree! Ava was a big help! She put her own little shoes up
She loves the lights on the tree
